No, they're just mediocre now. Especially that guy, Steven Universe. It's just all fanservice and flash with no substance. Everything gets written off. It's like Star Vs. It's really insanely mediocre. The only reason people go crazy is because of the waifus (like that goddamn fucking Loud House) or the shitty "lore/plot" (Adventure Time, Star). Steven is in no way a bad show, it's pretty decent in fact, but it's not good. Yet everyone shits on actually fun shows. (Gumball, Clarence, etc) Kind of a sad direction animation is heading in.
