Well just finished reading this and I have to say is this. This is why Scott is the leader of the X-Men. While all of Storm's X-Men and Magneto's X-Men are scrambling around like headless chickens, he's actually trying to find a solution to the problem and seems to have got a reasonably okay plan to do so. But knowing Marvel, a diablous ex machina will come out of nowhere and we'll be bashed over the head of how Scott is the next Hitler.

It's not uncommon for characters to be shelved for years, writers argue all the time to use characters and are turned down.

Like what would happen if you took ALL the X-men who have been Horsemen and created say... "The Apocalypse task force" Huge fan favorites but that lineup would be too powerful.
