Barbara has always been the worst love interest for Dick. Dick/Babs only exist because Timm wanted to be a creepy fuck later on and because Robin/Batgirl. They've never meshed well and the whole relationship necessitated tons of retcons to happen.

Because of all the terrible retcons Dick and Babs always come off as shitty people since you've to give reasons why they had never been together in the past or can't in the future. So they're constantly being dicks to each other and other people.

Buuut after Convegence he placed them back and things followed as they did before Convergence ever happened with Dick and Babs not marrying, Dick not dying in Infinite Crisis, Dick having other relationships and years later Dick becoming the new Batman.
