Dr. Druid was great insofar as he was a "hero" that really did want to do good, but he had very solid feet of clay. He wasn't an out and out insane anti-hero like Deadpool, he was just...a jerk. He wanted to be a shining paragon, but he was a petty man.

It's a bit of a shame that he's stayed dead so thoroughly, particularly since he's on the occult side of things, which makes resurrections easier.
