We base this on the fact that CBS, when it owned CBS Films, aka proto-Viacom, it seen it as a rival even though they were part of the same team. Apparently in-fighting and in-house rivalry was CBS' M.O, during that time.

She probably get's along well with the rest of the Alphabet Sisters, but she just doesn't live Viacom all that much, except for when she wants the Eldritch D. VBS might like Viacom, but she's a competitive person first and a lover at a distant second.

Heck, the reason the first merger failed was because the heads of both companies didn't get along and had to be separated.

The mother of UPN was some sort of network was some sort of company called United Television/Chris-Craft Television. That's where the U in UPN came from. His father was Paramount, that's where the P in the acronym comes from. The two of them created UPN and when United Television went defunct the ownership went straight to Viacom, who was merged with CBS at the time. And then after Viacom and CBS split, CBS got UPN as a channel.

CBS is an adoptive mother that took Paramount's kid and then killed him for the CW.
