Why put so much effort into trying to downplay his achievements? Rose is a big fucking deal, space rock or no. She led an army and has the blood of countless space rocks on her hands, including that of one of their elite rulers. She's also had many boytoys over the millennia, but Greg is the only one she let knock her up (and kill her).

Also, what difference does it make if he lives in a big house? Does that somehow make him not a millionaire? He does what he likes and now all his basic needs are guaranteed to be taken care of. And school is free. Money isn't the thing keeping Steven out of it.
