Red Sonja returns in a new series with Amy Chu writing, Carlos Gomez doing the art and the She-Devil with a Sword back in the classic metal bikini. In December there will be a 24-page #0 issue going for only $0.25. Which is cheaper than the sales tax on a lot of the comics out today. We have the first three pages from her return along with the cover and incentive covers for the issue. The covers are by Nick Bradshaw, Brandon Peterson and J. Scott Campbell.
The barbarian She-Devil with a Sword faces a whole different world and challenges in this new adventure written by Amy Chu and drawn by Carlos Gomez. Somewhere deep underground, strange and powerful demons clad in metal armor attack and roust Red Sonja from a deep magical sleep. It's standard discount. So 25¢ cover, at least 50% off. Depends what a retailer orders, but I don't think it goes higher than 55% off the top of my head.
Even at 25¢ my store will likely only order what they know will sell, and a few extra copies. They could have it be free (like Cyber Force) and nobody would take it.
Yes, people didn't even bother taking those free Cyber Force comics.

I can maybe see why they want to do it with Vampirella because she is mostly in the modern day, but come on once you see her original costume you will never forget it.
