I'm losing interest in this comic. Every strip feels restrained. The older strips had a blunt approach to them with their humor, now it's careful and safe.

It's nice to see the mold broken once in awhile with more than 4 panels. But otherwise, the writing is too guarded.

But if it's severe enough that you really do have to transition, you're never really going to just "get over it." You can find a middle ground, I have. I've come to terms with the parts of me I can't change and try to focus on the things I have changed. But they still bother me, they always will.

You learn to live with dysphoria and function despite it, but it's never gone and it's never cured.

Once upon a time it was about being lonely 20-somethings with bad jobs and semi-interesting love lives. Then he had to break Marten and Dora up or else the central narrative would drag to a halt as they got into a committed, loving, but boring relationship as people are wont to do.
