Please, Starlin made him act like a spoiled and violent shit BECAUSE he hated the concept or Robin and Jason had the misfortune of being Robin when he wrote Batman. Anything during that time Starlin wasn't writing was pretty much had him neutral and pretty friendly, hell The Man Who Has Everything came out when Jason was Robin and he was perfectly fine.

I hate the fact that Starlin and Bat editorial tried to hide behind the phone poll. They wanted to kill off Jason they just should have done it and stopped acting like it was the fan's fault. I read somewhere that if poll went to Jason surviving then, he would be in a coma. In effect, this is practically the same outcome.In the end it didn't even work as there was too much backlash and Starlin was off the book.
