To be fair, every sonic character except for sonic, amy, the armidillo guy and charmy have their arms the same color as their body, and I can't see any reason why sonic and amy ould be outliers like this since other hedgehogs have been seen to not follow this rule (unless of course its related to if they have non colored underbelly as both silver and shadow have fur there, we don't know amy's and sonics is the only one that isn't)
