>Bebop and Rocksteady were a mistake
A statement I'm sure Peter Laird and Paramount both agree on.
You wish, butthurt 03 fag
>amp up the 80's references
>decrease the quality of the script
Real mystery why Out of the Shadows was shit, eh?

The 80s portions weren't the issue, it was that they were poorly utilized. Kraang shouldn't have even been in the movie, minus maybe a scene to set up a sequel. I can't believe Beebs and Rock were in the movie, and never got a legit fight scene with the Turtles.

FUCKING USE YOUR SAIS!!!!

Well, Paramount were banking on Bebop/Rocksteady/Krang/Technodrome being popular enough to make the movie more financially successful than the last, yet the opposite was the case.
Turns out most people don't give a shit about those elements at all and ultimately found them annoying, go figure. They might as well have made a movie starring Venus.
Critics unanimously said Bebop and rocksteady were the best part of the movie, though.

I never, and still don't, understand that.
They were annoying as fuck with a humor that got tired after the first 30 seconds.

They had good chemistry.
One guy called them "the power couple of the year".

>"the power couple of the year".
Bebop and Rocksteady are fantastic though, im glad they became a major part of the larger TMNT mythos

>>87169644
From the begining. If you want someother jumping on point in order to read it month to month, I guess issue 51 is going to work.
>>87169807
2011 one?
>>87169889
The IDW series started in 2011 but issue 51 came out last year.

The IDW Turtles stuff is one of the books I always look forward to reading. I even got the Turtles in Time mini for a coworkers kid for his birthday.
