That's easy to write about nowadays. He gets all the social media shit, and becomes a target by the government. He gets all the deep web shit and starts going after drug dealers and human traffickers. He sees all the porn so he is no longer aroused by it.
I assume Youtube would sue him for something.

That's not too hard, actually, if you play the plot straight.

Dexter Douglas, a brilliant young man with a good heart, but painfully crippled socially. His parents, while blandly pleasant towards him, clearly favor his more athletic, classically successful brother, who torments Dexter as a daily occurrence. Isolated and lonely, unhappy with his life and with no idea how to change that, Dexter exemplifies the hedgehog dilemma as he retreats further into himself.

Then, of course, the Pinnacle chip happens. In the cartoon, getting dumped into the internet for the first time involved a lot of screaming, flailing, and ultimately being dragged into a bright, sparking corona of energy. So turn that up to eleven for the film; the experience is a mind bending horror show as Dexter's brain tries to make sense of being digitized and stretched across cyberspace. He's barely able to comprehend anything he's looking at because he doesn't technically have eyes anymore, he's just data. It's the "do you think that's air you're breathing" bit from the Matrix in the worst way possible.

So he gets zapped, gets superpowers, and pops back out as Freakazoid. Except, Freakazoid isn't really Dexter Douglas. He's almost a split personality. And while they do share memories and urges, they can't really influence each other.

And as time goes on, Dexter starts spending less and less time as himself. After all, the Freak is strong, successful, and wildly popular with women despite being a spastic weirdo. Eventually, those doubts start piling up, and both halves start wondering, Dexter with mounting terror and Freakazoid with growing realization... why is he even changing back?

I make sure every single day at some point to pray to God they never make a Freakazoid! movie.

The internet is such a different beast now, the entire comedy coming from him in a movie or reboot would just be memes and facebook bullshit. Not the unrestricted insanity of the original character.

Freakazoid! is one of the best cartoons ever made. To touch it is to try to remake the Mona Lisa in Photoshop. Possible, but most likely a shell.
