It's only alive because of the market. It would have died slightly after it went f2p if it wasn't for mannconomy and keys, which are still the de facto currency for Steam trading.

Valve always takes fucking forever to do anything because they're too busy feeding Gaben. Besides, they make all their money running Steam now so anything they do with their own licenses is largely recreational.

The TF2 "characters" are fun in their way. They're broad archetypes that spout predictable yet amusing cliches by being so over the top. I enjoy it. They should just farm them out to a comics company that loves licenses. Somebody like Archie or IDW could make amusing TF2 comics on a monthly basis instead of Valve's usual "when we fucking feel like it, alright?" timetable.

They're not. The decline of the game is mirrored in the comics. Both are just Le Wacky Soldier's Funtime Jambooree now, the difference is the comics have Soldier's waifu hogging screentime from the actual characters too.

Personally I don't see a problem with the paid sprays in a sense that it's just a shitty cosmetic gimmick that people just seem to get riled up over because you used to be able to it in the older games.

That's kinda silly considering the fact with csgo you could spray on windows and they'd only show up on one side of the glass making it so you could hide behind your own sprays.

I can understand about the porn sprays though. But I suppose they could just implement an option to disable them altogether if you want to.

You're right that it wasn't really worth the controversy it got but it's the little things that add up over time really. It's probably a strong statement to make here but valve's been getting pretty money grubby over the years with all the nickle and diming shit. And I hate it because they've made tf2 the front end for all their experiments.

He'd probably have the advantage in close combat since a good meatshot would deal instant lethal damage that she can't avoid with her time shenanigans. At most he'd maybe have to plink at her with his handgun a bit before getting in close.
She might be able to outdamage his pistol at mid-range, but scout has at least a few tools that could theoretically help him close the gap.

Tracer is vulnerable to stuns, (see McCree). Scout has a whole deck specialized to stunning. Sure, provided the Scout doesn't get her with good meatshots since that would kill her very fast she could teorically live very long by rewinding time. But going by game logic/mechanics:

You go back to the amount of health you had when you rewind, so eventually you will have little health that rewinding wont do much.

Scout technically has infinite health, assuming no health packs are present, he has Mad Milk, so while tracer's health eventually will dry up he can keep it up forever, also double jump means getting places tracer cant reach, so splooge her with Milk, regain health, hide in the roof while spamming taunts waiting for the CD of the Milk, repeat.

Tracer lands a ultimate on him, he's dead, no arguing that, since I dont think you could activate Bonk on time (and going on game logic he can only equip one secondary), going by universe lógic, he drinks his Bonk and he's safe.

And this is without going into the bullshit powerlevels Scout get with MvM upgrades which means either getting like 15 seconds of invulnerability, faster charging slowing mad Milk, faster charging stunning baseballs, resistance to explosion AND bullet damage and more shit.

Going by all the things accesible to them Scout should win, if limited to game mechanics a Stock, Mad Milk, Boston Basher Scout should win (add a 3 charge Uber o Crit canteen plus the whole pletora of upgrades if we are talking about the MvM scout)

Fuck, I mean Sandman, not Boston Basher (the later has a bleed effect). Just to add that tracer is vulnerable to a measly one second stun, and the sandman can stun from 1 to 7 seconds depending the distance, and if it Crits, its in the range of 105 damage, so tracer is fully fucked.
