Newsstands shit is overrated pleb
It's not like I'd buy any of that anyway

If it wasn'^t for those I'd never have read cape comics as a kid... maybe it would have been for the better.

I do certainly begrudge Europeans can buy legit Uncle Scrooge and black shirt Donald Duck stuff in markets while we only get Archie.

That's fairly common at any Barnes and Noble.
Wow, what a wide and varied selection. I would definitely stop going to my LCS.
I don't know how valuable it is, but we have those here. Go to a bookstore, or an airport, or train station. Barnes and Noble has a whole section that size just of comics. It's not that rare.
>Fantastic Beasts magazine cover
>fairly new
>year+ old stories from both Marvel and DC
Is that on purpose or do things just get printed later in the UK?

I'm American and I do still see that from time to...

Okay you're right. If you replaced that with an Archie Digest magazine or something, then you'd be in rural America though.

This. That whole comics section at Barnes and Noble in addition to their 2+ rows of trades makes OP's point moot. And they have a Starbucks.

We have those everywhere around bigger cities like New York, San Diego, Los Angeles, Seattle, etc. I've seen a couple in Dallas and Houston when I flew out of Texas back to SD.
They're not that big of a deal, and are usually price hiked.

Marvel stopped selling their comics on the newsstand since around 2013; the only Marvel comic you'd see there is the one kids' magazine.
They probably still have them in the UK because those fall under reprints and so probably have a lower fee to pay than with original comics.

Um... I already have. Not recently mind you but entire spinner racks full of comics and shelves with MAD, Cracked, Marvel and Warren magazines. And in more recent years similar displays at Barnes & Noble.

What in blazes is "black shirt Donald Duck stuff"?
I see a newsstand/convenience store behind my usual bus stop. I live in San Diego, CA.
