Wolf Moon was really cool and a nice twist on the werewolf mythology.

Basically, there is only one werewolf, but the curse affects a different person each full moon, with the curse transferring via eye contact.

It's a slippery slope trying to find *good* werewolf comics online, though.

Peter is the Wolf is 90% hardcore were-porn, but by default, sadly, it's still better than most of the werewolf webcomics out there.

The closet exception is "How to be a werewolf" which is decent, but the first half of it so far is really dialog heavy and is page after page of characters talking about how to deal with being a werewolf drama more than there being werewolf horror/action.

Everything else I can think of that's an ACTUAL comic and not sketches on tumblr is shitsack.

For example...
Luargyros was a completed comic on one of those shitty pay sites that wasn't *bad* at the start: girl gets bitten right before she moves into a gated Christian community..that's being targeted by another werewolf pack for plot reasons. Really sad scene where she admits to her parents that she's a werewolf. but the fucking thing ended with God sending down an angel griffon from heaven to kill all the bad werewolves. I shit you not.

Anything else online is either were-porn, something that the author reboots/starts over every fifty pages, or just plain terrible.*

I kinda liked Ferals, but it's unfinished, it's written by David Lapham, and even for Werewolf stories there's somethimes excessive gore so I can see, why people might not like it (Also there's sex and nudity, which might spook the american audience).

Yeah. This is why I ended my post with *prove me wrong* PotW *IS* porn, but towards the end of the Hunter arc there was at least an attempt at honest to goodness tension.

How to be a Werewolf isn't bad, I said that, but I felt like it breaks the "Show, Don't Tell" rule of storytelling and bit and explains too much/has too many pages of characters just talking. It's still not *bad*.

And Lunargyros still *fucking sucks* after wiping its own ass with it's premise.

Every other comic I've seen falls into a few basic categories: the artists keep rebooting their work after being unsatisfied with it so the plot never goes anywhere (and Loboleo is *really* guilty of this especially since two of his attempts are 50% drawn out transformation pages,) the comic is just outright bad (too many to list) or the artwork is unappealing.

As for my tumblr remark, I mean, literally, all I've found of werewolves are just artists posting sketches or art of their werewolf characters. That's not *bad*, either, but I haven't found any actual werewolf comics there. (Though Ask the Werewolves is at least pretty funny.)

To be specific, it's literally by the fucking numbers, complete with a mix of some shonen/shojo numbers, and some of the most painfully predictable-looking character designs.

Also, Kylie literally looks like Kate McAllister from Paradigm Shift, which is never going to update and always had stiff-looking art anyway.
