Looking back at Something Positive is weird.

It had a huge influence on my humor and some of my general outlook on life, but I really don't understand the sheer will power that keeps it going.

As a whole, it still looks like its drawn in MS paint. The characters remain relatively static. I get its really dialogue driven but I feel like it wouldn't be hard to just copy text from one comic to older art and not lose much meaning. Its doubly weird because RKMilholland doesn't necessarily need to lean on that style based on the other pieces I've seen.

In proof of my point, the backgrounds are present but here there are 4 panels with absolutely no action, 1 that's just a little dynamic. and then it settles on the exact same blocking and camera angle as the first 4 panels.

I remember reading Applegeeks in HS when Megatokyo was still new, the two even crossed over a bit through some art of Ping and Eve having a night out on the town.
It's too bad the story had no real direction outside of "look, he made an iWoman! and uh...she won't sleep with him! "
