Who the fuck wanted this? Any fans (were there actual fans, not just spectator douches?) will be miffed by the lack of pouches/X-TREME stylings, and any new fans will likely be puzzled/turned off if they check out the original. Why not just create a new book?
>>87119830
ill give it a shot, I'm glad The Thing gets to be in at least one book
>>87120105
I can't tell if you're being serious
>>87119856
Are you only capable of speaking in memes and buzzwords?
>>87119830
Kinda wish out of everything, they'd have kept the Miles Caulder redesign
So is this a full on Reboot?
>>87119830
Is Liefeld on it? No XTREEEEME no buy
Where's Prophet?
>>87119830
So fucking hype for this. The New 90s Renaissance has been the best thing to happen in the industry.
>>87119988
Alan Moore's revamp of Supreme and Youngblood and Brandon Graham's revamp of Prophet were far away from the source as possible, so there's a precedent for drastic reboots.
>>87120491
Don't forget Campbell's Glory if we're on the topic of EXTREME COMICS reboots.
>>87120511
Oh yeah, that too.
>Badrock
>Sentinel?
>Shaft
>Vogue
Not entirely sure who the bottom right two are supposed to be but a good enough initial lineup. They'd better get a Diehard soon. I have a weird soft spot for him.
>>87120658
Suprema and Doc Rocket.
>>87119830
Mite b cool, Liefeld's writing with that art style will be pretty dissonant though.
>>87119830
Isn't Chris Sims writing this shit?
>>87119830
So Badrock, Sentinel, Suprema, Shaft, Vogue and Doc Rocket? I mean, I guess. I don't know who's asking for it. It's also weird how young everyone looks. Though I guess it fits the "youngblood" title more.
I like 90's Image and I'm totally into this
>>87120931
Why didn't my slutty aqua hairspray queen Riptide make the cut?
>>87121048
good question, hopefully she makes it when they inevitably expand the roster.
>>87119830
I just looked around and apparently this news has been around since August. So I guess nobody cares.

Nah we care, there was a long thread about it

>>87121176
Hey, I care!
>>87121048
She died in Judgment Day. Did nobody here read YB? This barely looks like a reboot, the characters were de-aged in the Casey run.
>>87120411
It finished months ago.
>>87123512
I never read any of the Maximum press stuff. I read a bunch of Youngblood vol 1 and some Team Youngblood
Bloodstrike and Prophet was where it was at for Extreme
>>87123570
Alan the man Moore did a fantastic reboot during Judgment Day, that's extremely recomended. Then he did like 4 Youngblood issues that are a work of art.
After that Mark the madman Millar did a one shot that's completely hilarious and Robert tv guy Kirkman did another one that's kind of boring. Then Joe Casey got them together and did a new regular series that was really, really good for about 9 issues. So there's few comics to read and a lot of good material and popular creators. Go read it!
wait, who's writing this?
>>87119830
I actually really like the art for this?
I have no knowledge of Youngblood, but it looks cool.
Is Liefeld writing it?
>>87123667
>Is Liefeld writing it?
Seems like he's plotting it. The writer is the guy on X-Men 92 who isn't Chris Sims
>>87123703
alright alright.
I'll give it a shot at least.
Best girl.
>>87119830
if its by the Prophet creative team, im in
>>87124545
obviously isnt
>>87124604
Yeah i just saw
But the dude seemed to have ideas on what to do with the YB chars. Many of them pop up on Prophet in some way or another.
>>87124636
They also show up in Glory. It's a shared universe. Doesn't mean that the only writer you've read is going to do everything. Specially since that dude wrote Prophet because he could set it in the future and not worry about the characters.
>>87124848
>Doesn't mean that the only writer you've read is going to do everything.
i actually first got into YB during the xforce crossover in the 90s but my taste changed later and never was able to get into it in the 2000s
prophet's dude was what got me into rereading that universe again
>>87124926
In that case you're gonna love 2000s Glory, it has connections with that Prophet run. Also, Alan Moore's Supreme and Youngblood are pure gold.
>>87124636
>Many of them pop up on Prophet in some way or another
Yeah Diehard was a major character and Badrock and Troll play big parts in the story
We got only a brief glimpse at Shaft as an aging man leading a new team of heroes
And of course there was the alien ship powered by Supreme's corpse
Looks like a tumblr version of youngblood or a saturday morning cartoon version
what other XTREEEEEM comics could befit from hipster reboots?
>>87126277
Diesel.
>>87126277
looking forward to the the new DC/Wildstorm Deathblow series, titled Michael Cray.
