Started a test thread the night before. It only got two posts and was saged. Don't care, though. Let's have a general for this series for the sake of entertainment!

>What is this?
This is Dreamkeepers, a graphic novel series created and self published by David and Liz Lillie, a married couple out of Michigan. Both artists and writers, owning an independent publishing company called Vivid. The book is mature-themed, but can get adult in nature. No, not THAT kind of adult. This is not your typical furry comic. It's a well-written action adventure comic with amazing background artistry and relatable characters. The series has been in production for nearly a decade, beginning in 2006, and has four books published. It also has a separate webcomic called "Prelude" which focuses on the early lives of the series protagonists. Because the book is an independent, two-person project, production takes time along with complicating variables. Production should be considerably shorter, however, due to the creators going full-time recently.
/co/ doesn't even do general threads for things like Marvel and DC. You seriously think you can force a general for a mediocre furry webcomic? Even Two kinds doesn't have a general thread.
>What's it about?
Basically, it is about a race of people called Dreamkeepers, living in an alternate dimension called the Dreamworld. They are essentially the guardian angels of our dreams, each armed with a unique and supernatural ability dubbed a "Power". For each person in our world, there is a Dreamkeeper just like them in the Dreamworld, protecting us while being completely oblivious to our existence. For thousands of years, the Dreamkeepers have been tormented and were nearly brought to extinction by demonic creatures known as Nightmares, who are hellbent on destroying all life. The Nightmares failed, however, and it has been a long time since their last attack, so most Dreamkeepers have forgotten about their existence, thus making them vulnerable for yet another genocidal attack. Now, a ragtag team of mid-teenage Dreamkeepers have been caught in the middle of a new looming conflict of apocalyptic proportions between the two races and they must find a way to learn more about their enemy and end the conflict before it begins.
>Where do I go to read it?
The main Dreamkeepers site has the first three books up for free reading, with the first chapter of the fourth book being uploaded page by page every Monday. Updates for the fourth book began several weeks ago. However, if you wish to support the artists, you could always purchase your own physical or digital copy on their own publishing site. Keep in mind that physical copies will be limited at times. OR, donate to their Patreon page, the source of income that allowed them to go full-time.

Good point. I guess the next thread will just have to be a normal thread.
In either case, now that all the above babble has been posted, I'll be storytiming the series. Starting with the first book. Enjoy!
People would probably be more willing to check it out and discuss if this shilling wasn't so transparent.
Anon, I like Dreamkeepers, but it doesn't deserve a general.
It's not popular enough and it doesn't update enough.
Just storytime it and move on.
this comic isn't half bad I hope it doesn't become trash or just stop like most of these comics do

It only gets better. Especially the art style; it dramatically improves with every book that's released.

This concludes Chapter 1 of the first book. Might as well keep reading on the main website or follow this thread over to /trash/, because there's not enough interest here to warrant continuing. If that changes before this thread gets saged, then maybe I'll do double duty and storytime both here and on /trash/.

Trash is for porn. Only porn. Don't delude yourself.
