So short movies can't have emotion anymore?
>>87115881
Felt a little drawn out but I'd love to have an adult animated series like this.
I don't know why, as there honestly wouldn't be much difference from a live action series outside of being able to minutely control actor portrayals and landscapes. If it got supernaturalish maybe it give it more reason to be. I just want it animated.
>>87119594
there's a difference between having emotion and "EPIC FEELS MEME OMG IM SO SAD AND I KNOW THAT FEEL!!!! XDD"
it's not that hard
>>87119757
I don't think you even know the difference.
>>87115881
That was beautiful, OP. The animation was incredibly impressive.
I dunno what crawled up you guys edgy asses that you can't appreciate a short sketch exploring emotion instead of story.

Saw this last night. Good. Hit me a bit harder than expected, because I knew the protag was thinking about flying from that cliff from the beginning.I'm that way every day now.

You know, it's okay to have an emotional moment. It's okay to feel empathy with someone else, even a character in a story. It's okay to have an emotional depth deeper than an iphone's thickness.
If you don't like seeing any emotion in any form in any form of entertainment, I'd pity you, but you'd dislike that emotion in me as well.
I'm wondering why, after living many decades and having a career as a sheriff, he decides to go back to where his dad died and end it. Something must have triggered his nostalgia for his father and all the other shit. Failed family life? Bad day at work?

Daltons escaped one time too many.
I've felt more over 2D animated girls than this shit.

That speaks worse of you than of this short you know?
