Why do people give this show so much credit when the entire visual style and music was just ripped from Legacy? I'm not denying that it looks and sounds fantastic, but it doesn't really do anything original or interesting. Worse, it didn't even end properly so who gives a shit.

Legacy made some great changes to the franchise's aesthetics, but they didn't take it as far as they could have and tended to sort of play it safe. They didn't use much color outside the oranges and blues, and even then that was mostly just for the vehicle sequences, a lot of the backgrounds are very dark and empty without a lot of activity or subtle details, and most of the framing in the movie sticks to pretty boring, static shots apart from the action sequences.

Uprising took things a lot farther. They made better use of color, delving into a lot more reds, purples, greens, etc and doing a better job of motifing with the colors, the backgrounds are gorgeous, bright, and rich with detail, and the storyboard artists did an amazing job of developing great looking 'shots'.

Well, hey, at least Samurai Jack is getting a proper ending at long last.

Which may or may not end in a Bad End anyway, who knows.

Also, Tron: Uprising is unique in that despite being cancelled before the show could properly wrap up, we already know it was slated to conclude with a Bad End. We just don't know how many people would have gotten caught up in it aside from Tron's fate.

Uprising's ending wasn't an implied bad one. It was a certain bad one. There was a movie which took place afterwards in which characters had been royally fucked over and that showed no open resistance still in effect.
