I assume we're talking about basic Sonichu here, and not his evolutions Ultra Sonichu or Metonic. Sonichu has displayed exemplary combat abilities, being capable of six separate pokemon moves, and three originals. The list of abilities he has is not merely attack based, as he has numerous stat influencing moves, affecting both him and his opponent, such as double-team and mud slap. Combine this ability to control the stats of any battle's participants with the fact that his offensive attacks are heavily speed based and you have a truly awesome foe. While you could imagine that Coldsteel would be similar in terms of abilities, I would like to point your attention to this: "He was stronger than all his classmates at the Sonic Fighting academy." This statement indicates Coldsteel as a combat prodigy, but more importantly it indicates an emphasis on strength. While this sounds impressive, remember that Black Sonichu had a higher Attack stat than Sonichu, but was nearly equal in all other respects. This show an aptitude for combating foes with near identical power, and superior base combat abilities. (One should keep in mind that Black Sonichu had a whopping three red dots in that field.)

All in all, I believe that Sonichu would prevail with a hard-won victory.

While Sonichu has the advantage when it comes to using stat affecting abilities, that's just about the only thing he has going for him. In contrast, Coldsteel has one key thing that Sonichu doesn't: training. Sonichu was a wild pokemon before meeting Chris-chan, and despite being in several battles since, the fact of the matter remains that he spent most of his life living as a regular old pikachu in the wild. However strong he is, he simply doesn't train and fights mainly on basic instinct alone. This leaves him prone to rookie mistakes that, as someone who no doubt learned battle tactics in the Sonic Fighting Academy and the Sonic Military, Coldsteel could easily take advantage of. There's also the fact that Coldsteel was able to kill Sonic, someone who Sonichu is often compared to in terms of fighting prowess. Now, we don't exactly know the circumstances surrounding that fight, and whether it was close, but the fact that he came away with only a bit of his ear missing is a good indication that that the battle wasn't all that close.

Chris is said to be the most well-documented human being, but even if that is true, there are still so many mysteries.

Like in his final form, "Collosal Chris Chan", why that name? And I'm not just talking about the spelling error, that's to be expected, but why name his final form with the adjective "Colossal"?

Is this form's defining attribute it's size? If I remember correctly, Sonichu was about the same size as the other Sonichus when he went to Asperchu's world, and in that pic you can see that "Colossal" and Sonichu are very close to the same size. So he's not even physically huge. Was he just going for alliteration? If so, then we must again ask "why colossal"? Why not "Crazy", or "Chaotic"? In a series with characters of a variety of sizes, including city-stomping giant monsters, in which size is usually meaningless in the face of much more common, much more potent powers such as electricity, psychic power, "chaos", why would he make the defining attribute of the final form of the main character his being a big guy?

That probably depends on whether or not Coldsteel beat Sonic in his Super form. If so, then I'd say he has a bit of a chance, but if we're talking about Ultra Sonichu vs Coldsteel, I think Sonichu would win. If his stat affecting abilities were strong before, they get ridiculous when in his Ultra form. He can bring people out of comas and cure several people of their aspergers all at once, and he could probably turn Coldsteel's mind to mush and make him shit his JNCO jeans. That, and there's no discernible time limit on this form (or if there is, it's generous enough to allow him to travel between multiple states hundreds of miles away to run errands) meaning that even finding a way to stall for a little time is out of the question.

Coldsteel lacks feats. All we know is that he's powerful enough to kill Sonic, but Sonichu can do that too by the virtue of being faster than (or at least equal to) Sonic and also possessing a variety of superior combat abilities (Pokemon moves, I think he knows Curseyehameha too?). Both have an equal lack of morals, as Sonichu has been shown to have no compunctions whatsoever with killing those who minorly displease his master.

I get that he was old and tired, but he was a smart guy and he didn't practically acknowledge that his son had a disability until it was too late to fix him. They fought tooth and nail to mainline him through school, never got him any kind of occupational therapy, and didn't really go out of his way to see that he was socialized beyond getting a few girls from the neighborhood to come to his birthday party.
