>that episode where Tom and Jerry commit suicide

they are toons, they are immortal anyway, reminder only "the dip" could kill a toon.
>warner brothers still hasn't released the volume 2 blu-ray
>despite it being available on amazon video germany
I fucking hate this shit.
Is this the suicide thread?
that episode where Tom dies and has 24 hours to save his soul is terrifying
>>87106755
late 40's and early 50's are probably the best period.
I remember that one about Doctor Jekyll and Mr Hyde.

DON'TYOUBELIEVE IT
>>87106806
what is this rainbow-haired monster?
>>87107591
It looks like a clay golem, a very ugly one.
>>87106811
kek
>>87106755
And Jerry is a douche about the whole thing.
>>87107713
Jerry was always a douche in the classic ones.
>>87107239
That shit always wigged me out for some reason...
>>87106788
I've always thought that the concoction tasted like chocolate milk.
>>87107591
Hey now, Woolie ain't that ugly.
>>87107771
>>87107713
Que? Tom went back and immediately tried to fucking force him to sign it. As soon as he just asked Jerry was completely down for it.
>>87107771
>>87107713
It should be noted that, after receiving hate mail from Tom fans, Hanna-Barbera decided to have Tom win a bit more in the 50s shorts, and Jerrys's prickishness was toned down somewhat
That episode where Tom is decapitated
>>87109359
Can't really blame him though. He didn't believe for a second Jerry would sign it after a life-time of harassment. When it came down to the wire he then pleaded and begged as a very last resort and it actually worked from a very reluctant Jerry.
He had that face on him like "You're probably lying about this bullshit too but fuck it, whatever. If it keeps you from trying to kill me for a while I'll sign it."

That episode was a dream, to be fair
It seems like making jokes about suicide wasn't considered that offensive until fairly recently, seeing how many times it shows up in cartoons of this era
>>87109510
Kind of surprising, really.
>>87109383
Back that up.
>>87106543
I never got people's surprise on this one. When I was little, I always thought >>87109466 was the 'last episode'. It so clearly shows tom getting his head cut off. The mood was so somber and realistic, not cartoonlike at all, so in my mind it was like a final 'dark turn' that 'ended' the series.
