The worst South Park episode I've ever seen has to be the Mighty Ducks parody. Not because it isn't funny but because it depends on a downright encyclopedic knowledge of 80/90s kid sports movies, and even with that it feels like an episode missing an A-plot.

Once I warched this episode , I realized why critics hated the show so much when it first aired. I haven't seen every episode but this was by far the worst of all that I've seen.

The majority of the jokes are either characters acting like dicks or a form of shock humor. What makes it much worse than later, better episodes though is that all the jokes are all basic, cliche and barebones with none of the creativity of the later episodes. Even the plot is suprisingly generic with the only twist being the whole anal probe deal. The only truly redeeming factor of the episode is it's simplistic animation style that in some ways, actually looks better and charming than latter episodes. In short, if you want to watch an alien epsiode, just watch Cancelled instead.

One last thing, watching this next to the pilot of Family Guy makes me almost believe that they switched writing crews later into their runs. At least to me, old Family Guy is practically modern Sourh park with cutaway gags and less focus on modern satire while old South Park is a modern Family Guy without cutaway gags.
