So why does Princess speak in red speech bubbles? She did that the first time she showed up as well. As Vladok, they were black.

I think it's to show she has some kind of crazy accent.

I always thought Vladok had some massive Carpathian accent, to show his extreme age. I bet Princess has some variety of that as well, since her Flame is apparently a truly massive and terrible one.

Also, I suspect she's the 'big guy' of the party, by far the strongest and toughest.
