Here's The Legend Of Sewer Madre. One of the few episodes (maybe the only episode) where the invasion succeeds. It didn't succeed for long, but still. Teresa's idiot bosses land on Earth and even use a translator to talk.

They talk about needing hundreds of slaves. The town they're in doesn't seem big enough. Also wonder why Teresa constantly thinks taking over that town will result in them conquering the world. I know it's a children's cartoon, but she has to know there is a world beyond the town and that there is a fucking military with nuclear weapons. I'm pretty sure one guy with a flamethrower would put the fear of god into these plants.

That's something I keep wondering. We saw Teresa landing and she spoke English right after, but we also can see she understands Kemii language. Then, why does she speak in English to her leader? If they all understand English, why does the leader need a translator? We could say he understands English but due to not having a human form he can't pronounce it properly. But even then there is no reason for him to keep his translating device when talking to Teresa and she doesn't need to talk to him in English other than to let us know what they are saying.

About the invading that town, probably she thinks she needs to invade one place before expanding.

That's probably also why they're insistent on invading without being detected instead of just blasting their way to victory with superior technology. They know that they'd lose if they attempted a worldwide invasion right off the bat. So they take one town at a time, with each new town providing a means to grow more and more troops, until they are producing soldiers faster than the humans can deal with them.

Well, it looks like the Kemii and the humans are not so different after all, even if the Kemii are living plants they have human like brains (as shown in >>87035027 ) and they get affected the same way we humans do, love, fear, clumsiness , flu, they even like telenovelas (to the point of crying)

Well, the pilot DID feel quite different. Dilworth has a lof of experience on the field and it shows. The pilot was very well done and got me interested right away.
Take for example, this shot. I think it portrays Loom/Teresa's character perfectly. A cute girl staring into Max's room, which happens to be on a second floor. Its so alluring and creepy at the same time, really tells us how she is meant to be like.
But in the show itself we don't get stuff like this anymore. Its like whoever its writing it now has no idea what to do with the characters. Some of the episode's plots are so dumb, it does get kind of irritating sometimes. Overall it all feels very plastic and the interactions a bit too superficial.
I will still watch it (its seriously fucking cute), maybe even consider drawing porn of it. But yeah, I do think the pilot was way better.

Hell, in the episode where she gets a "weapon" and imagines its many possibilities, she thinks of stupid shit like turning off gravity. Goliath is super strong. She's probably super strong as well. I know they need slaves, so killing everyone probably isn't ideal. She seems to prefer a peaceful surrender for that reason. But she really needs to know better.

What good would it do for them to use lethal force? They need a means to control the humans, not destroy them. Killing humans while on a recon mission would not only be completely useless, it would actively be detrimental to their plans since it would put everyone on alert and make the invasion that much harder.

Besides, we've already seen at least one time when a Kemii attempted to fire it's laser at a human that it thought was a threat. Simon would've been dead already if it didn't miss. The timing matches up with just shortly after the first /co/ thread was made. Makes me wonder how we didn't notice it.

We've talked briefly about what Teresa does in her downtime. A flashback in the lying episode showed she participated in a school play and had a pet goldfish. I'm hoping A Day In The Life Of Teresa will further elaborate on her downtime and show her just trying to be a normal human.

I mean, she's been there over a year. She has to have a lot of downtime.
