I do try to make sure I pair any design I make with a decent backstory. I'm always lurking and giving feedback about the characters. I was the one who prompted you about her liking crafts. It usually pays off. I actually have a bit of a peeve for when a character gets popular, but almost nobody drawing them actually knows how they act or what they're motivations are. I'm glad that's not the case with Teena.

I think it's good to want to know more about the character's mannerism/story before you draw them. Or before "I" draw them, at least.

Though every girl I try to draw ends up coming across as femme fatalle anyway (just booru the WB for example 1; how she's usually depicted vs what I did to her. Jesus.)
