I get that it's important to her, but out of all of the crew Hera is usually the one to think "we have to think of the bigger picture, this fight is bigger than our personal sentiments" and be willing to sacrifice a family heirloom. Hell, she ended up sacrificing her family home in the end.

Does anyone else fucking hate the Rebels opening music? It never fits the scene that it follows and always takes you right out if the moment. Now I know how Dave felt about the outro music in TCW, but at least that always came at the end of the episodes, which usually had a happy ending anyway so at least it fit the scene most of the time. The Rebels intro is just so annoying, especially because it's not even an original piece like TCW soundtrack was. Fuck, I thought they were done with using it when they started to just leave out the score in S2, but now they're back to using it? Fucking why?

What the artist likely did was draw a sort of rectangle outline for the lightsaber and then filled in the details from there, without actually fixing the angle and perspective on such a shot. Likely did it at an angle by tilting the pic, a common practice, but never titled it back the opposite way.

Speak for yourself. The fact is that ESB is not a standalone movie, it's a singular chapter in a multipart saga that took decades to tell. Multipart films belong in a class of their own since they're not even playing the same game as your typical feature film. That's like judging a chapter of a novel as a short story.

For instance, Thrawn's lizards, they're neat and all, but they never really fit particularly well, but they will allude to the fact. Much like some of the Old Republic stuff that has been thrown around. Some of it just doesn't fit with established canon, but they're willing to pull things out of it and still add them, such as the Mando/Jedi War or the Ships or Malachor and such.

Like we probably won't see Mara Jade unless they integrate her in a way that it makes sense, like a future Inquisitor and may not give her interaction with Luke at all.

I view it more as a more fresh take on things to actually make things fit better. Like I liked a lot of the EU, but it was honestly a mess, so its nice to see them trying to bring some things in from the old EU and rework them to fit properly and work better.
