No, my bet is that the AI forced her to see things that would get the most emotions out of her. First the flashback alongside Wally and co (including the flying kiss in the city), and then after the flashback's done, show her recent events taken from Wally's memories.

The only way for him not to be screwed over by a greedy publisher is not to fully give them the rights for the system and anything that follows. If you fucking closely followed the trainwreck that was OGL and 3E fallout, WotC lost 90% of the monster shit for D&D because the idiots forgot to TRADEMARK them. Trademark being a key word here. Not copyright. Plagiarism and borrowing is another pair of beans and you can look up cases like Larry Potter to see how hard is to prove that shit in court.

This is a fucking dog eat dog world (in a literal sense, fucking furries), so a guy wanting to protect his ass from being screwed over is totally OK in my book. Okay here's my post for law retards:

1) You make a game system
2) You secure the rights to the system under the respective parts - name goes under trademark, book under literary works, any tokens cards and way of playing with them by patents.
3) You want to use the game for a license and you enter a talk with the current copyright holder for the world/setting/characters
4) You own the mechanics of the system, while the license holders keep rights to the setting/characters under the respective copyrights (for books, comics etc.) and trademarks (names, creatures, characters).
5) You split the profits and print the works under a publisher who gets a cut from each work sold.
6) Meanwhile both the setting license holders and the system holders can do whatever the fuck they want with what they have.

So who exactly holds the trademark/copyright to Endtown? Aaron or Jarlidium? Because if Aaron puts his stuff on Gocomics and Jarlidium owns the copyright/trademark, he must have explict permission for that. If Aaron holds the trademark/copyright to Endtown (which I assume he does on the latter part being de facto Endtown's creator and sole artist/writer), unless he is getting bent over and royally fucked by publisher raw, should have total control and can use outlets other than Jarlidium for publishing anything different.

If Aaron allowed himself to get fucked over by the publisher it's his own problem because it seems so far that he's not even in full control of his own creations.

Actually a lot of media shifted from the Sci-Fi focus to issues like gay rights, slice of life etc. It started in the 90s with stuff like ASB and Circles and certainly followed the trend now. Gay-related issues fill the comics nowadays and Sci-Fi is on all time low except for silly comics sometimes.

This trend is not really uncommon outside of the fandom as well given that Sci-Fi nowadays have become the punchline of a bad joke.

As for the original characters - that's every damn fandom with drama queens and ballerinas from Narutards to Horsefuckers. Everyone wants a special important snowflake.

I'm a slow reader. I just finished the arc with Al and Gustine, for example. I really like this comic and hate that I let myself be put off for so long by the fact that some of the characters are "furry." I haven't enjoyed a comic this much in a really long time.

I didn't have a problem with furries since before I discovered 4chan because I was reading furry comics before that without even knowing what they were (didn't look into their forums), so when I saw all the "furries are teh evulz" memes I just went "whaaa...?".

Yet, I stayed away from Sabrina Online for the longest time because I kept hearing it was terrible. When I finally gave it a try I found out that I actually loved it (not that it's GREAT but it's good for me). Sadly that was about 3 years ago and the comic has recently ended, after 20 years.

I know that it's not meant to be but when you think about it, Endtown DOES look like a fusecution story done with some allegory.

First, monsters started appearing randomly among the normal people. When more started to appear it was considered a contagious disease. Those who caught the disease conciously became notable monsters, those who caught it unconciously just became furries and had to go into hiding. The unaffected people took measures to avoid the disease and were indoctrinated into hating it. They fear catching the disease above everything, even though they see some people who caught it and didn't become monsters. It caused a world wide war. Those unaffected who are curious can get the disease without becoming monsters if they educate themselves first, or can be forced by the furries into becoming like them. Those who were affected and can't deal with being furries monsters too. Some seemingly unaffected people live among furries without problem, though they can turn into either furries or monsters randomly.

No wonder people are getting the wrong idea.
