Some damn fine Noir.

I dug it, I found the works to be rather wordy, but that's a given considering the genre. I want Miller to explore the world again, but why ruin a good thing? I never got why Miller was called a sexist because of this, it came off as egalitarian in a weird way.

My question is how the fuck did Frank Miller's art deteriorate so much.

I was obsessed with it for like three years in high school. I even wrote some character bio's and stuff on the dark horse wiki.Bought every book and tried to get every bit of merch I could. I wanted a sequel movie so bad.

In terms of pure graphic impact and visual storytelling it's still one of my favorites.

Ava Lord is probably the most famous character in the entire Sin City universe, outside of maybe Marv.

I have no idea how anyone can take the gender politics of Sin City seriously, it's such an inherently and obviously absurd universe. You might as well try and complain about the gender imbalances in the Naked Gun movies.

I just got it on Cheapgraphicnovels Nick and Dent section for half price. It's still in the shrink wrap and there's literally nothing wrong with it. I think I got a pretty good deal.

It was fine. Got like four or five volumes from the library and binged them one night. I found it rather comfy, weird as that may sound. Bad guys got what was coming to them, heroes tried hard and pushed through adversity even if it meant death. It seemed almost innocent in spite of itself.

Marv was the best part of course, and I still wish we'd gotten a Kevin/Miho fight
