They're back to the off-season schedule again, which means the shorter run. Their first was also off-season which is why it only had 13 episodes. They got changed to CW's main programming schedule for S2 (hence the longer 19 episode run) and meant we got S1 and S2 pretty much back to back. This the reason we're facing this interminable gap before S3 now. :(

The plotline with Liv's family hating her better be resolved this season
