It reportedly had great viewership, and a bunch of celebrities liked it and openly endorsed it, strangely enough, on top of a bunch of critical acclaim. Supposedly it wasn't renewed due to Disney transitioning into its live action phase at around the same time that it aired. It's likely that they didn't outright cancel it because if the new live action stuff failed, they could bring it back, but we all know how that turned out.

Not Anon, but the comedy in this show was filled with overused tropes. It was as bad as that George of the Jungle cartoon.

Not to mention the animation was fucking terrible. I remember one scene they had those dancers kicking their legs back and forth and the animator was basically flipping frames. How did this even get approved to be Disney quality?

Come up with a cartoon with a better narrator than Dave the Barbarian.
