Same, man. It's honestly some of the most horrifying shit I've seen to this day.

The part where they're poking around in the guy's brain and he goes from laughing to sobbing, all at nothing? Awful. It's a combination of an horrific situation and the realization that that's all anything we've ever felt is, just electro-chemical reactions in our brain.

It's fucked, man. It's that feeling of horror I've been chasing since then.

Certainly not horror, but Don Hertzfeldt's World of Tomorrow can give you a pretty similar feeling if that's more important than the horror aspect.

There's an asian movie about a wolf and a lamb, that I forget the name of. The wolf kills the lamb's mother and the lamb follows the wolf around in order to one day become strong enough to kill it.

It's kinda sad what happens at the end. The lamb becomes a strong ram and becomes kin to the wolf. Eventually, after many years, the wolf circles back to the lamb's old herding spot, and tries to kill another mother sheep. The lamb takes up his role as a ram and protects the herd and fights the wolf to the death. In the end, the wolf dies and congratulates the grown lamb on his strength.

The herd however, still as meek as they ever were, are all terrified by the ram, and he ends up spending the rest of his life in isolation, like the wolf did.

There's a lot of comic stuff with the guys of Métal Hurlant/Heavy Metal (Jodorowsky, Moebius, Druillet, Bilal) which are more or less close of Giger work. Maybe some animated stuff made by them or adapted from their work can fit what you're looking for?
