Was it a germ deal? Are the aliens actually just really weak? Did one of the Dinos get enlightened by alien tech and help turn it around or maybe one of the aliens turned traitor?

You mean comics starring just dinosaurs or dinosaurs and humans?

If it's the former the only 2 I know of are Paleo and Age of Reptiles. Both are near perfect comics.

If it's the latter than I'd recommend Xenozoic Tales and Devil Dinosaur. There's also a recent comic called Half Past Danger about a WWII troop discovering an island of Dinosaurs that I liked a lot.

Dino Island? No it wasn't. Paleo was a webcomic if I remember well but was collected in books by a publisher.
