And forcing Kon with the Legion never made sense to me thematically and the crossovers weren't enjoyable either. He doesn't need them and they don't need him.

When DC wanted Supes to be singularly unique, the only kryptonian on earth, writers got around the prohibition with fallen angels and clones. That prohibition is no longer in place, if anything DC is rallying around its silver-age large supporting cast. Superman has an actual son, that son is Superboy, Kon ain't coming back for at least a DC generational shift. Deal.

Now that we have a legit Superboy back I'd like to see him serve as an anchor for a relaunched Legion of Superheroes.
