I like to think that after the cancerverse Peter just completely lost it. I mean, he has always be prone to fucking up/having a shit life, changing his behavior in hopes to not make the same mistakes again, and then fucking up again. Mom dies? I'm curious on how they're bringing him back, though. If it's via World Mind, I'm a bit skeptical. Is it really Rider or World Mind acting like Rider. I'm confused by that.

What worries me is that they made it obvious that something isn't right with the return of Rich. Hell, it looked shady the way they presented it in #11 and the solicit basically outright said that something was wrong here.
But now they're playing it like it's all perfectly legit. This shit has me seriously worried.
If they just stopped with the fucking gimmicks and just made a cool Nova book, I'd actually give them money. But the way they built this up initially makes me mistrust them and I don't want to give them money only for it to turn into "Eh, it was just skrulls all along. 30k sales are too low. Lately I have stopped hoping for Marvel to not be "stupid enough to..."

The idea of this book being more comedy focussed is another thing I have to see in action. Because I am really fucking weary of all of these cosmic books getting turned into comedies over and over again.

I'm just really leery of Marvel right now. The sheer fact that this book is something that I genuinely want them to write and write well makes me think they'll screw it up somehow.

I won't care until Sam is gone.
