why

>more magical girl action cartoons
Well I honestly don't see the prob-
>that sidecut
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>86818045
mitebcool
seems generic

The CG bits are 1st-season Reboot garbage, but other than that, I have no problem with this.
It was originally aimed at boys and looked like this.
>>86818045
>That CG
This had to be a stylistic choice. My fucking eMachine could render a better city.
>>86817157
>everything with girls is magical girls
fuck off no matter your side, normie.
>>86818472
Why didn't they keep the artstyle?
>>86818900
are you baiting, or just flat out fucking retarded?
>>86818915
because Tumblr
>>86819394
That doesn't make any sense
>>86818915
When Nickelodeon asked them to retool it for girls, I'm guessing they also asked for an art style revamp. At one point the boys version looked like attached.
>>Chub City
>>86818472
aw man...I would have liked that
>>86817116
The main girl looks way too much like Mera.
>>86817116
I hate this type of design. It's so busy with little details and yet at the same time it looks too simple and basic.
>>86820538
Were they really gonna name a show chub city?
How much fucking coke do they go through at these at these 'production meetings'?
>>86817157
I wanna give them props for trying, but honestly how long are networks gonna sink money on this girl powa trend before they go back to demographic marketing?
For those of you playing the home game, cartoons in general do shitty ratings among girls past preschool, and action shows targeting grade school girls pretty much only survive at all if the 20-35 male demographic latches onto it.
>>86817116
I can masturbate to them, so it's fine in my book.
>>86818472
>the boys are cuter
>>86824168
It's based off of some 2000s toyline, but looking at the trailers for this, they don't appear to be using any of the pre-established universe. It's just a name, and one that really shouldn't be pushed alongside Boys Action.

When political correctness falls out of favor again. I don't think it's a coincidence that these Girl Power shows surfaced in 90s and now. They were both PC strongholds.
