I know fuck all about the various alternate spidermans. When I was a teenager I used to buy the Astonishing Spiderman (UK).

Is Spiderman Noir any good? 2099? Those appealed to me by virtue of the different tone and setting, and I loved Batman Beyond, is Spidey 2099 anything similar? Not necessarily in that it's a teenager being mentored by the original hero, but tonally etc.

noir is really good, he only has a few issues too. 2099's original run starts out shitty but really picks up about halfway through. Not really similar to batman beyond as it's way more futuristic more serious.

I never read her series but I've been looking at pages and panels online and it looks like something I'd want to read. Maybe I'll read it at some point.

I guess that's because the first is actually Ezekiel Simms, while the second is the LSS design the little jewish tailer offered to make for Peter. Of course, it's impossible for Grim Hunt Spider-Man to be Last Stand because the latter was married to MJ and had been framed for murder, he hadn't actually done it. He and MJ were married and stayed that way.
