I think it's a little unfair to compare a TV special to a film with a budget of millions of dollars, but I do find it a bit sad that Mainframe couldn't stay ahead of the curve.

It's a PS2 JRPG.

The reason why it's blocky because they just upscaled the FMVs from 480p to 1080p on the PS3, PS4 and PC versions and upscaled to 544p on the PS Vita.
