There's not a lot to talk about with doug besides the funny and memetic moments. his meek underdog routine hasn't aged very well, but for a while back then it was refreshing.

The main character was relentlessly boring; all he ever did was whine about something with the situation eventually resolving itself without Doug actually doing anything.

Some of the supporting cast are great, particularly Judy and Mr. Dink, but there are other shows out there that are slice-of-life but with better main characters on top of a good supporting cast.
