I really don't care for Wanda being able to zap a building back up after she tore it down. That's not a power she had back in the Probability Powers days (since the probability of a building going back up is zero).

It's too late to complain about writers constantly changing her powers though.

So let me get this straight:

Scarlet Witch's mother was Miss America, but no, it was actually Marya Maximoff, but no, it was actually Magneto's wife Magda, but no, it was actually Marya Maximoff, but no, Marya Maximoff was her aunt and her mother was a Gypsy witch but not any of the other Gypsy witches in Marvel, a different one. Oh, and the High Evolutionary experimented on her and a talking cow told everyone her dad was Magneto for no clear reason.

Wanda's mom was Marya and ?????, they were taken from her and given to the High Evolutary who did shit (and Chthon too) to give them powers. Marya was a superhero who fought the HE and the kids ended up with Django and Marya.

I can't remember how they got retconned from the Wizzer and Miss America's kids and I think Bova lied Mutants Died

I don't know what's worst the rotating artists of wildly varying quality or that it's issue eleven and we're still reading about the Axis Retcon that should have been resolved in UA volume 2.

this retcon is so dumb, I can't wait for FOX to throw Scarlet Witch in the next X-Men movie and completely undermine this farce to the casual audience.

Robinson needs to move on from this story and do anything else with Wanda.

Although now that Magda is not the mother, the whole story with the Whizzer doesn't make any sense.

He doesn't seem to be allowed to crossover with anyone from the regular MU (except Quicksilver, who's barely being used in Uncanny Avengers) so having her figure out her ridiculous backstory may be the only story he's allowed to tell while they figure out what to do with her.

She's in a strange limbo between MCU characters (to be pushed relentlessly) and Fox characters (who are not allowed to be pushed at all unless their name is Deadpool).

The subject itself doesn't interest me, but I liked the art/storytelling this chapter. I really loved the last chapter, that one was rad. The book has been pretty fun after the initial arc.

Poor Quicksilver, most writers seem to follow Steve Englehart's hatred of him. Peter David is one of the few writers who seems to like Pietro better than Wanda (and Bendis, I guess, but only because he likes everyone better than Wanda).

I wonder if her new status quo might be being Prematurely Old Scarlet Witch. That would be kind of cool.
