I played with an Undead character.

It was fun in the sense that it was like a really, really slow storybook. Sylvanas is the best, naturally.

Legion has the best expansion launch content of any period of the game.

This is not even remotely up for debate.

Will it go to shit later on if patch content turns out to be a dud? Possibly, but 7.1 Kara looks great and Blizzard has FINALLY realized that yearly expansions are never going to happen and are instead focusing on actually fleshing out patch content instead of putting their A-team immediately onto new expansions, so who knows.

For raiding I can tell you this:

Condition (dots)... actually I almost never see them in my raids nowadays.

Surprisingly, you're probably going to be a tank in spite of being a light armor class. Either that or hard dps.

Conditions and/or tanking. Two health bars all day erry day. Farting out skeleton rats constantly.

Probably going to be healing. You can dps too.

If you're going to raid. Roll revenant, Mesmer, Ranger, Warrior, or Elementalist. Those guys are almost always needed.

As for PvP... hard to say for me. I don't do it that much but I've seen lots of builds for all the classes, so you're not as shoe-horned.
