This crossover feels like it'll lead to a "why didn't Iron Man help in Captain America 2?" situation. For whatever will happen in future Transformers issues, the GI Joes will be strangely absent.

We should have seen Sideswipe giving Streaker the bad news.
And I feel Sunstreaker should be more devastated about Hunter. The little dude literally sacrificed himself for Sunstreaker and they shared a MIND. Streaker didn't even like humans at the time, sure he was okay with them but he didn't LIKE them.
Sunstreaker fucked up so much during IDWs early years, it's annoying how they neglect such potential development in this character.

I know earth has it's reason to hate the Autobots and co. in the IDW continuity, but this is less "I do what I must for my people" and more "I want to watch them bleed while I burn everything down"

No you're completely right.
Scarlett is completely out of control, she's typically written as being pretty in-control as far as I've read in IDW. Hell, even when something happens to her love interest, Snake-eyes, she doesn't lose it. Barber probably just doesn't know how to write the Joe's in all honesty. Sitterson needs to take the wheel.

What do people think of the humble bundle that just popped up?

There's some more stuff, including the beginnings of Revolution in a higher tier but my screenshotting sucks too much for me to include it.

I don't really know much about any of these franchises, having only read a storytime of Transformers vs. G.I. Joe after seeing pages from it posted everywhere, but if you are willing to pay for digital comics (which I'm sure many on /co/ aren't) there's a lot of comics there for not too much.

IDW G.I. Joe is basically split into 4 "seasons".

The main book had 4 volumes.

During the first volume there was a Cobra mini and a Snake Eyes mini and a spin-off called G.I. Joe Origins.

During the second volume there was a Cobra spin-off and a Snake Eyes spin-off.

The third and fourth volumes had their own spin-offs that ran alongside them, but it doesn't matter because they sucked.

The first two "seasons" are mostly decent. The third season is unreadably bad and the forth season wasn't much better.
