What is it with Canada and bad cartoons?
Canadians make so many shitty cartoons because they're suppose to make canadian-made content to boost that Canadian Nationality Patriotic stuff. T
hey need to meet a quota.
That's why so many of them are shit
They have a mandated number that they for some reason have to make every year so they just make a cartoon out of anything
And it's all done in Flash because the shows HAVE to be made in Canada. They could be traditionally animated if they were allowed to outsource.
>>86746223
>Angela Anaconda
>bad
shit taste fampai
Johnny Test: created by Americans
Angela Anaconda: created by Americans
My Life Me: French as fuck
If you're gonna trash Canada, Pick some stuff that they actually came from there.
>>86746412
Why are so many show outsourced to Canada then?
>make bad cartoon
>give it ten seasons
>make good cartoon
>make 1 season
>cancel it
>even though the creator had written a second season
You want a Canadian cartoon?
I'll give you a Canadian cartoon.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KTvYh8ar3tc
From what I've read and been told Canada's animation industry works different than what it does in America.
The focus there is basically quantity over quality. Once your show gets approved you and your crew must pump out all the episodes of the seasons that got funded.
Serialization is heavily discouraged, and you can easily notice this with the most mediocre shows in their roster. Once you've one, you've seen them all.Pic related is a Canadian show that got entirely reworked to be more character/DEEPEST LORE-driven. So far it's good but it hasn't caught onand I feel extremely autistic for hopelessly making threads about it.
>>86746286
That isn't wrong. It's to keep our already heavily American influenced culture from being completely American outside of news and sports. At the same time America keeps it going with their need for cheaply made animation for kids to fill their time slots. I'm glad we have it, but it sadly lets in a lot of crap.
>>86746850
I like Atomic Puppet too. If only because I'm starving for action cartoons.
Also the dialogue is good due to the creator being a writer for Recess.
I liked 6teen, Stoked, and Detention.
Is Ed Edd n' Eddy the only tolerable Canadian cartoon?
>>86746223
Literally an embezzlement scam.
The government gives funds to produce canadian made shows, so they take the money and make the cheapest shitty show possible and it's still funded.
>>86747063
Of course not faggot. There's a lot of shit but just the sheer volume of shows mean you get a diamond every once in a while.
>>86746223
Grojband was alright.also mlp
>>86746977
I've been starving for action cartoons as well. Atomic Puppet fills the role of Miraculous Ladybug pretty well so far, too fucking bad finding info about upcoming episodes and release dates is extremely hard, so it seems I'm doomed to have nothing new to watch during Ladybug's hiatus.
The dialogue is pretty good but the reason it gets to shine more is because of that retooling I was talking about. They're trying to stray away from letting the show devolve into yet another formulaic cartoon. There's actual effort poured into this show and it feels so bad that it's not getting the attention it needs.
>>86747063
>TFW we went from Ed, Edd & Eddy to this shit:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ul_xV8lVSPI
What went wrong?
What about "Producing Parker"?
>>86746850
The funding system leaves a lot to be desired. If it worked, this would've been made already.
>>86747177
Yeah info is hard to come by I feel you.
There's a mega with the first 20 episodes if you don't have it.
mega:///#F!C8gzzYoS!sfboyzI0eoKLvdxd-395zQ
Also it's actually getting some fan art so that's a plus.
>>86747246
Looks badass, why hasn't it gotten funded? I only know the most basic stuff about how the damn thing works over there.
>>86746223
There are good Canadian shows, though:
Inspector Gadget (most DiC stuff is alright)
Ed, Edd, n Eddy
Reboot
Ned's NewtTotal Drama (first 3 seasons)
Johnny Test (Season 1)
Leaf who wants to get in to the industry here. Basically what was said in >>86746850 but additionally, most of the actually talented people who come from Canada are sucked up by Disney or some other American company. Most of the companies who do cartoons in Canada also own flash programs like Toon Boom, so they're pretty much forced to use it. They also get like no money.
>>86747177
dont worry anon, i somewhat care
>>86747406
>Total Drama (first 3 seasons)
First 2 seasons
>>86746223
Because canadian laws require a certain amount of programing to be Canadian they dont have to compete with other countrys.
>>86747486
This goes for all media outlets. Radio, porn, it's gotta be 40% leaf
we have this to
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pdxucpPq6Lc
>>86746850
Remember when ReBoot was a thing?
What happened to that type of storytelling in Mapleleaf Land?
Canada made Clone High, they are forgiven of all sins.
>>86747442
>most of the actually talented people who come from Canada are sucked up by Disney or some other American company
>they also get like no money
This also happens here on Mexico, I'm honest to God bailing as soon as I get my degree.
And thank you anon... somewhat!
>>86746855
This doesn't really make any sense, there's no way to tell apart american-made cartoons and canadian-made cartoons unless you go out of your way to look up who made it.
>>86747566
That died when the media companies that bought out all those channels became more concerned with profit than creativity.
So has any Americans seen Jacob Two Two? It's a very well produced show with a cast of fun characters. The show itself feels like a blend of Freaky Stories and Hey Arnold.
>>86747063
You forgot the comfiest cartoon ever
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95-ZixL1sxg
>>86747717
I saw this show alot as a kid, the art style is fucking gross and the kid was autistic. It's also when I started to notice Canadian cartoons were...REALLY Canadian. Ugly ass cities, moose, hockey, the whole package
>>86747717
Not American, but I have fond memories of the show as a kid. Completely forgot about it until now, though.
>>86747671
Canadians actually get taught this in school.
Basically, if it's in some ways made in Canada or features Canadian actors, it qualifes as Canadian content.
Does Martin Mystery count as a Canadian Cartoon?

Yvon of the Yukon was GOAT
>>86747717
>that episode where Jacob had to team up with the bullies to make a potato clock
>they hooked it up to so many potatoes that it gained sentience and started breaking the laws of physics
Never really cared that much for the show, but that episode always stood out to me
If only stuff like this still got made.
Thoughts on 6Teen?
>>86747717
Love that show and the books as a kid.
>>86747826
Hells to the fucking yes.
>>86747855
Also good.
>>86747995
I liked it. And Stoked.
>>86747995
Decent.
>>86747995

What about code lyoko?
i live in canada and the retarded bullshit my niece watches makes me lose all hope for the future
stuff like the day my butt went psycho, literally the joke for the entire show is that everything is shaped like asses
>>86748305
It looks like it's trying to copy Butch Hartman's style???????
The only god tier Canadian cartoons are Clone High, Ed, Edd, n Eddy, and if I feel super nostalgic Stickin' Around.
>>86748305
>stuff like the day my butt went psycho, literally the joke for the entire show is that everything is shaped like asses
So Assy McGee for kids?
>>86748295
That's French, ain't it?
>>86748365
Real mature Bradley...
Was Jimmy Two-Shoes Canadian?
>>86748421
yes
what does /co/ think of that show anyways? I thought the first season was okay.
>>86746223
But anon, Canadians are shit at just about everything except hockey.
Shit cartoons
Shit sense of humor
Shit Whiskey
Shit actorswith the exception of Tara Strong and Jim Carrey
Shit shitposters
Canada just sucks at fun in general
Do Canadian creators acknowledge most of the shows they produce are shit or are they like that one Canadian prime minister from that South Park episode?
>"THIS IS THE GREATEST VICTORY... IN CANADIAN HISTORY..."
>>86748629
i don't think so, but a lot of live-action shows made fun of the CRTC quota
>>86748444
I fucking hated it as a kid, I haven't seen it since. The only time I got interested in it was when I learned it was initially supposed to be darker and for adults, with Jimmy literally being sent to hell and constantly tortured, and that made me realize the show had a fuckton of Satanic imagery in it. Two of the characters are named Lucifer and Beezlebub for god's sake
>>86748444
Hellouise a cute.
Any canuck remember this fucking thing?
>>86748798
I thought this to, but probably only because of the lack of legs.

fangbone was a show made in canada, was supposed to be for disney xd but crazy budget cuts has it airing on canada only rn, might be airing on xd later this year
had a lot of friends work on this, they loved it, but it's kinda terrible. it wishes it could be atomic puppet.
>>86751182
i like ruby gloom anon
>>86751224
also a big difference as to why shit sucks so bad here is a lot of it has to do with the canadian dollar being so low, a lot of shit is outsourced to us because it's cheaper to do. therefore the industry here is focused on churning out cheaper shit so a lot of the shows have a lot of graduates and interns therefore the quality is bad.
shit that's coming from canada soon to a netflix near you: cloudy with a chance of meatballs tv show, hotel transylvannia tv show, more seasons of peabody and sherman. your welcome (i'm sorry)
>>86751257
also hey yeah canadian animator obviously trying to break in to the american animation industry, not a graduate so i need a little more experience to get a visa. ask me anything.
>>86751224
funny story this show was trying to get made forever, they made a pilot a year before the other series with another studio, it was pretty good, they used it to attract a lot of grads to the project, then another studio underbid it with a lower budget (but because of canadian grants they made money anyways) and produced the shitty show for way cheaper
here's the original pilot if anyone's interested, it's way better https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qi3jG_AQrzI
>>86749603

>Never ever get to experience the high quality shows from cable since that my parents didn't bother getting it.
Fucking kill me
>>86746223
We used to have good cartoons, but because we don't get money for cartoons and need to fill a quota we only get shit now. Kind of like how there's a rule that radio stations have to air a certain amount of Canadian music.
>>86746223
>The best Johnny Test episode was the Wacky Racers but then they milked the shit out of it and had like 4 more that weren't of the same quality.
I remember when this shit premiered on KidsWB AND wasn't flash animated. I just want my Saturday morning basic television cartoons back.
>>86752290
not to mention the actual crews of the shows don't get paid much but the execs get lots of money, especially because we have so many grants given out and they just gobble it up
Angela Anaconda had some hilarious characters, scripts and character dynamics

Fred's Head. I can vouch for >>86746552 that it's really good. It's a "realistic and sarcastic teen doesn't want to be bothered with wacky situations" sort of show. What's the point when Canadian cartoons and music get confused with America's, anyways?
I'm not trying to be mean, I just find it ridiculous that your government is forcing content to get shit out 24/7 but at the end of the day there's little to no difference compared to American content.
>>86752458

Teletoon aired the only season for so damn long. And I'm glad they did because god damn I fucking loved it every time it came on. They did the same thing with Undergrads, except that one ran for even longer, hell I think the last time I saw it was around 2012 at 2AM. As a child in the 2000s, I thought both had a ton of episodes because of that. I'm sad that neither show will ever get a second season. My child self thought it had a ton of episodes because of that.
Shit, remember Spy Groove? I only remember seeing its name during the "coming up" segments and it aired late. I don't recall it getting any promo whatsoever though I think I have a memory of actually staying up late enough to see what it looked like.

The regulars were a joke. They were basically pissed rednecks that knew how to duck when shot at. It really is pathetic that your source of pride is someone else doing all the heavy lifting to get a bully out of your yard.

>>86782880
Of course I'm proud of the strong and long lasting relationship we've had with Canada. We'll always have each others back.
And you can try and downplay the skill of the American soldiers all you want or equate them to Emus to make the loss less embarrassing but the fact of the matter is that this was a war endorsed by the government and fought by the military on land and sea.
>>86782958
And it was on sea that that actually saw American victories. That was the American's saving grace, their navy.
That's why I call it the proper war. That land shit was just Brits cleaning up after two kids roughhousing. It was ridiculous, the Americans for invading with their """""regulars""""" and the Canadians needing help to get them out. It was nothing short of a joke.
>>86783127
The small naval victories were the only things that gave the Americans any confidence because they did so bad on land. And confidence boosters were all that they were since it was virtually meaningless considering the size of the British navy.
>>86783127
>This part of the war wasn't real because America sucked at it
Are you sure you aren't American?
>>86782642
I'll start by admitting the 'you' was dumb, call it a proof reading error.
I never said it was worth the glory many falsely claim, but I do take pride in knowing Canada is one of the few countries the USA wasn't able to simply seize on a whim.
Britain and Canada were part of the same military organisation back then. That's how colonies work
Lastly to any Americans reading this, that animosity is firmly in the past for anyone who's not a brainwashed retard. 200 years of friendship saw to that.
>>86783461
>I do take pride in knowing Canada is one of the few countries the USA wasn't able to simply seize on a whim.
That is because the U.S. did not have the capable military they have had for the past 100 years.
Besides, the brits practically seized the country on a whim.
Also, everyone talking about 1812 seems to forget an important detail:
NO ANGLO WOULD HAVE CONSIDERED THEMSELVES CANADIAN IN 1812.
Only the dirty french people were Canadians. The scots and english had been present for 50 years and were British, not Canadiens, Acadians, nor convicts a la aussie shitposter.
You aren't going to see "a fucking LEAF" until the 1830s at best, what with the upper and lower canada rebellions and all.

What does it matter what they were called. The were the people who would become Canadians. The people modern Canadians are decedent from.
>>86783677
It matters when Canadians thump their chests saying Canada beat back the Americans, and when Americans say "Canadians just sought help from their british betters"
The whole thing was a Great Britain versus U.S. engagement, with some old leftovers of New France (being militamen) and natives thrown into the mix.
The only people we could consider Canadians at this time are the french population, which most canadians do not relate to in any shape or form. So unless all these leaf posters are going to claim quebec ancestry, their points about "canada" doing well against americans is moot.
>>86783784
The point I made was that they were Canadians in everything but name. At the end of the day they were still our ancestors. I don't think any Canadians think it wasn't at the core of it the British protecting their interests. Any drumming of the chests is usually done to annoy the Americans. Which is really really fun. But the people who would become Canadians did fight in the conflict and it isn't fair to ignore them completely.
Also jokes on you I claim Newfoundlander ancestry and we had some bad ass fencibles in the war
http://www.warof1812.ca/r_newfld.htm
>>86783784
There was a distinction between homegrown Brits and colonials even back then. You're also forgetting about the maritime provinces full of Anglos from the start.
>>86756692
Only Newfags call others Newfags, Newfags
>>86780825
But...did they make it to the Fairy Ring?
I think either the show ended on a cliffhanger or they didn't make it. (then again I could just watch the show again.)
>>86780777
>Canadians
>polite
I live in Canada and this is a lie.
Most Canadians are snarky/comedic. Or they enjoy teasing people and they're passive aggressive pieces of shit.
>>86782642
>Even the land battles celebrated in Canada were won by the British!
This is a bit confusing when talking about the war because well, the majority of Canadians were still British at the time.
>>86783912
The true joke is on newfoundland, as Canada day was placed on the same day they honour their dead soldiers from the first world war.
Must have sat well with them when that was announced. Cities on the islandstill fly their flags at half mast until noon on July 1st.
>>86784347
The whole polite canadian mem baffles me. Quebecois are known as being terrible tourists, prairie folk will happily call you fucking goofs (their equivalent for faggot) if you look the least bit out of place, west coast people are not too comfy with their indian and chinese inundation, and everyone hates on the natives and Toronto.
In short, we are like any other country with regional rivalries, bigotry towards minorities, and general attitude problems.
>>86784419
We don't really give a shit about Canada day. It's Memorial Day for us.
>>86784419
>everyone hates on the natives and Toronto.
I really never understood this, why do the native people get hated on?
The main thing that's annoying about Toronto is all the bullshit downtown and that everyone/thing is depressing during any season that isn't Summer or Spring.
>>86784590
People hate that they get government benefits and money while residing in terrible living conditions in the middle of nowhere, succumbing to drug abuse, domestic violence, and an all around bad time. Their problems become stereotyped as "they cannot help it, it is who they are, so they are forever fucked", so the country and government do not really care for addressing the problems, they just mock the symptoms.
But hey, they pay no tax, and a select few run casinos and sell contraband cigarettes,so fuck those guys!
>>86752711
Yeah, now I know the name of this horrible abomination. I remember only one episode was released on my german channel despite planned to continue.
>tfw we will never get something as good as Cybersix again
>>86780777
It's not passive aggression if we're laughing at your face with the double edge compliment. That's just how we ribb eachother.
>angela anaconda
>bad
nigger what
>>86782880
But they did need the british because they fucking failed. They failed so hard at extrmination they had to call it a war to save face.
There were no humans on one side
Just emus
Emus still exist
Way to fucking go
>>86783590
>Not convicts
Actually the fist time Australia said"fuck off we're full" resulted in my ancestor coming to Manitoba as a free citizen. They decided instead of incarceration the very fact it was Manitoba was enough. No idea what he did or what his name whas, I should do some genealogy research, I was adopted and only really entered the birth family at 19 years old.
>>86783590
They still would have a hard time taking us because our citizens would form malitias and our army tought the US gurella warfare. Which they still don't do too well at.
>>86783912
>Any drumming of the chests is usually done to annoy the Americans. Which is really really fun.
>>86784419
Its way worse then faggot
Imagine pedophile with connotations of being absolutely useless at everything and a liar.
>>86746223
It's because Canadian cartoons are partially public-funded. This means they have to make a certain number of cartoons, while under a limited budget.
That said, Canadians are at least producing animation "from the ground up" so to speak. They don't have to rely on outsourcing. Animators start at the bottom and learn every step of the process. In the US, we have fewer truly good animators now because they never go through that grind. It's sort of like at any job situation where management is filled with people who don't understand the real work being done at the bottom.
>>86785939
I'm conflicted because I sort of liked the show but hated it at the same time. I'd totally be able to just forget about this show, if it weren't for the fact that it had that awful short before Digimon the Movie.
>>86785939
that show is trash
>>86785939
There are show like Dan Vs. where you can forgive the poor animation because the writing is strong.
But Angela Anaconda goes beyond bad animation. It's art-style actually disgusts me. I get sick just looking at those grey skinned dead eyed bobble head freaks. Nothing can redeem it.
>>86775184
It looks like it was made in GoAnimate tbqh
It's funny how both this and Atomic Puppet have extremely retarded superhero concepts but the difference lies in that AP's crew actually put in effort.
It also helps the main character in AP is not a total douche.
>>86786132
I find this hilarious, as after the 1838 rebellions, 40 some quebecois were sent to Western australia for 7 or 14 years of hard labour/exile.
>>86786284
Then my albtertan buddy was not clear enough and decided to shelter me from the true horror of goofness.
>>86779890
>America rebels and declares independence violently
>Mexico rebels and declares independence violently
>Canada just sucks up to the British and gets independence handed to them on request
Goddamn Cananananada breaking up the /cum/ aesthetic.
>>86776741
Well, it was shit.
>>86787027
We kind of did that internally in the Red River Revolution. It's why Manitoba exists. Also I think Canada's olny civil war. Goddamn I'm proud to be metis.
>>86787200
Goddamn i forgot I gave myself a name for apost.
>>86787200
I wonder how different Canada would be if you guys had declared independence like us two instead of just requesting it.
>>86787200
>Canada's only civil war
Bitch lemme tell you about the 1837-8 rebellions in both Quebec and Ontario, and the northwest rebellion led by Louis Riel in the 1880s that led to his capture and execution.
Mind you, every single rebellion (red river included), failed spectacularly, and promises made to smooth over the issues that caused them were often broken or empty. The creation of Manitoba was a promise to keep white settlers off metis lands, but they moment colonists started pouring in, the feds did not lift a finger to stop squatting or land transactions between whites and metis.
>suddenly Canadian history
Too bad there isn't much to say about Canadian cartoons because we all know we haven't bothered to watch these cartoons in years so we just have vague memories of them.
Also I think Redwall was like half Canadian, 10/10 great show. The Raccoons was nice too.
>>86782679
Damn I wish these were in english
>>86748856
OH FUCK YES.
I've been meaning to look it up again, as its been lingering at the back of my mind.
>>86747855
Good theme song, not so good show.
I've watched a fair share of episodes too.
>>86785939
The Digimon short made the show look worse than it actually is, but it's still extremely mediocre.
>>86747818
>or features Canadian actors
But so many of your actors come to the US. If a show is produced by a US network, written by people born and still living in the US, geared towards US audiences, but is acted by a cast that happens to be people from Canada then it counts as Canadian content up there?
IIRC it's because the Canada has some stupid law where for every 20 minutes of American TV there has to be 2 minutes of Canadian TV (i forget the exact numbers)
This makes it so Canada ends up subsidizng cartoon studios that shit out terrible cartoons because they don't need to make an effort considering they'll most likely just keep getting funding
Same reason why there isn't a Canadian NFL team. There's some stupid law that says no professional American Football teams can exist in Canada unless it's a CFL team. This is why the Buffalo Bills are pretty much the defacto Canadian NFL team.
This is all part of the Canadian government's eternal war on American culture which is failing pretty hilariously.
>>86789684
Yeah, I think so.
If Canadians have anything to do with it, then it counts.
>>86790012
Seems like cheating
>>86790066
Our media is small it's all we have.
>>86789774
I wouldn't mind if the US took over Canada culturally. They have cooler shit.
>>86789684
If it is geared towards a US audience then it is geared towards Canadians
Unless it has content that doesn't suck, because Canadians revel in shit like the backwards liberal french speaking faggots they are
>>86789774
>Canadian government's eternal war on American culture
But why? They honestly feel exactly the same except for the fact that they speak French sometimes.
Keep in mind I'm not a burger or a leaf so I don't really know the differences.
>>86790398
Well we don't Canada to be completely consumed by American media, with nothing coming from us. That'd be pretty sad, not to mention it would cause even more jobs to be lost.
Most people in Canada, if they want to get into Cartoons end up working in/for the USA anyway because there's barely anywhere to go with it in Canada (No money for cartoons, so no good cartoons. Barely any cartoons so no money for cartoonist or voice actors. Gotta work for the USA.)
>>86787336
I consider north west and red river the same, i just use red river as a name for the whole kerfuckle.
>>86787680
>Racoons
Why haven't I posted this yet?
>>86791071
hobo with a shotgun using the credits from this was a great choice
>>86786976
Yeah I can never watch goof troop the same after living on the street and learning it as a curse. It's also a lower class swear. Middle class and up white people think it just means silly still.
>>86791088
I never seen Hobo with a Shotgun so I didn't realize there was more to the refernce. I've seen the movie poster so I got that. Now I really want to see it.
>>86791258
yeah it's a really retarded, but entertaining movie

>>86790613
You know what we need to do? Cut back a lot on censorship. Maybe entirely. Okay not entirely we don't want another mega babies(we were responsable for that literaly and figurative shitty show right?). Thats like a fucking german amount of scatological humor. Im sure we still get tons of doitchmarks from syndication of it today.
>>86791071
>the pink/purple guys were supposed to be aardvarks
How the hell?
>>86791424
From what I remember we had really lax censorship compared to the USA, apparently some anime scenes were censored in the USA but not in Canada.
One thing that really stood out to me was how years ago they decided to air South Park completely uncensored for surprisingly long time. (and of course I ended up seeing the episode where the girls learn about giving birth...oh god.)
But you're right if we were to cut back on censorship then we might get more various media. Although what we really need is more money for cartoons...and people willing to make quality stuff. But yeah I guess cutting back on censorship could encourage people to make more 'adult' cartoons.
>>86791321
Oh my god, it really does use the same song.
Now I think I should try watching The Raccoons again, I didn't get far into the series.
>>86791321
Oh man, I really like both versions Run With Us.
The one during season one by Steve Lunt sounds nice and soft, too bad I can't seem to find a clear version without the sound effects from the cartoon. But season two onward, Lisa Lougheed's version really pumps you up.
They're trying their best OP, leave them alone.
>>86747442
ToonBoom isn't Flash, get your facts straight.
>>86756953
Russian here.
This show was fun.
>>86792813
>Spray made 10 cover remixes of this song
http://spray.bandcamp.com/album/run-with-us-remixes
>>86748444
Eh, I kinda thought it was mediocore
>>86791071
You're replying to the wrong reply but that was still me lol
>>86749326
>What's with Andy?
The main thing I remember is being annoyed that Andy had a huge crush on such a boring girl. Also I vaguely remember something about orange pork grinds in the water supply and Andy trying to cover up ripping a huge fart.
>>86793271
Oh wait those were both me, i didnt notice the other (you) and clicked the link on raccons
>>86746223
Jonny test was a great cartoon and you guys are all being faggots
>>86792854
Thank you for believing in us Anon.
>>86746223
Johnny test was a great cartoon and you guys are all being faggots
>>86793392
It was okay. I think Teletoon's made better though. It had potential to be more epic but just stuck to episode based hijinks.
>>86793444
But it was made for hijinks
That's what it wanted to be
>>86751224
The sad thing is, is that the animation for a motion-tweened show is actually not that terrible, granted there are some quick-paced shots that make it look lazy, but there are a few actual animation eases in certain shots.
But the voice acting and script is pretty bad and the storytelling feels like it's going nowhere and falls completely flat on the entertaining aspect in favor of one-liner shit.
>>86780490
You mean saved from that gross animation
>>86793484
I get that and I won't hold it against the show but not my thing anymore. I'm a lore whore, Teddy Ruxbin ruined pure hijinks for me at and easly age.
> obscure Canadian cartoons
Silverwing counts.
>>86793392
Ehh, Johnny Test was an okay show, nothing great. No one would really hate on this show if it weren't for the fact that it aired for so damn long and took up tons of space on tv.
>>86749372
wat
>>86793668
Oh man I forgot about this show.
I remember a friend of mine was glad about it because he loved the books.
Also there used to be a big list of Canadian cartoons on wikipedia but it looks like it's gone.
I remember liking this show and finding it comfy, but aside from that I don't really remember it having an interesting plot, more like SoL, maybe.
>>86775336
Those people deserve to be cast into the maw of the Beast Planet
>>86784347
>But...did they make it to the Fairy Ring?
yes at the end of season 1
I dunno, there are some alright Canadian shows.
Wasn't Matin Mystery Canadian? That show was fucking awesome.
>>86794478
i thought it was mostly french
apparently it even takes place in quebec, what
>>86794387
Fuck i miss this show.
>>86794478
>>86794498
Based off the wikipedia page, apparently Canadians were involved in Martin Mystery, it looks like it's mostly just the voice actors though. (but it still counts because Canada.)
Does Redwall count?
Because man. Motherfuckin' Redwall man.
