the manga is only on 65 and it's... alright? It's still able to last because it fleshes out the other heroes and more importantly the villains, the current arc was pretty interesting, it floundered a bit but I think it's picking back up.

i meant so far. i hope the final battle really good. what i really liked about the sea king was that a lot of people tried to get on it. this invasion it's just saitama. the other heroes are just fighting the equivalent of a million goons. plus, the sea king arc had more memorable moments. genos jobbing with new moves, enhancements and saitama wrapping it up but having to deal with the consequences is more entertaining. i do love Boros' VA though. it's really unique and sounds great

Vortex was actually run by Saban. Which was kind of funny in a full-circle way since Saban distributed DBZ back in the mid 90s.

I wouldn't really say Kids WB had a "Good thing going for it" toward its end. After they dropped Pokemon, other than a few gems like Spectacular Spider-Man (which came too late to save the block), it was mostly Canadian crap and subpar WB abortions for its last two years. Then they sold it to 4Kids, who desperately tried to turn shit into gold for four years until their own legal problems caught up with them and they had to sell their assets off to Saban and Konami. Vortex only lasted two years, then Saban gave up and the last broadcast Saturday morning block died.
