Did you just get grounded?

Half of her drama comes from her family, though.
>>
>>86736720

Probably helped he never knew them and had Ben/May his whole life.
>>
>>86736834
That is normal for most young women though.
>>
>>86736756
Punisher had is WHOLE FAMILY die by criminals, so yes he does

Tim drakes dad was murderd i think cus of his connections and there was an arc about it

I dont count the others cus you have to ACTULLY SHOW and have the parrents in the show to see if they have any problems in the first place.

Wolverine probably wonders who his parrents are sometimes btw

>Punisher had is WHOLE FAMILY die by criminals, so yes he does

Nope. Question was about mommy and daddy issues, not issues in general. Punisher doesn't have those, he just has a host of other problems.
>>
>>86737163
Nope but his mom and dad also died

He has issues with his family dying but that doesn't exclude his mom and dad
>>
>>86737081
>Wolverine probably wonders who his parrents are sometimes btw

That's not what "daddy" or "mommy" issues are.

If you're the OP you should probably learn what these things are before asking about them.
>>
>>86737240
Not knowing your parents can still be a mommy and daddy issue
>>
>>86737269
It really can't. Those terms don't mean "anything related to parents", they refer to specific developmental problems.

For men, it means very intense feelings of competition with other men, due to anger at father figures, or avoidance of friendships and mentoring relationships with men, due to fear of their own intense desire to be loved by a father figure.

For women, it often refers to an intense yearning for care and attention from a man, usually because your own father was emotionally or otherwise "missing". It could also be negative feelings about themselves or their sexuality, because their father sexually abused them or was overly seductive.

Learn a little before making these kinds of threads.
>>
>>86737374
There are more than 1 common way to have parental problems, you just adress stereotypes

Not knowing your parents can really fuck with you

Btw im not op but you seem to think that makes a difference like an obsessive faggot.

Wasn't his dad abusive?
>>
>>86736720
He technically doesn't have parental issues, but his issues regarding Aunt May and especially Uncle Ben may as well count, considering that they raised him as though they were his parents.
>>
>>86736720
I'd call his guilt for Uncle Ben's death very much parental issues.

Oh, yeah. Very much so. Brian Banner was a major piece of shit. After regularly abusing Bruce as well as Rebecca (Bruce's mother and Brian's wife), Rebecca tried to escape with their son, but he murdered her right then and there. He threatened little Bruce into staying silent in court about it.

Because of a lack of evidence as well as Bruce's refusal to testify against his father, Brian got off scot-free for Rachel's murder. Soon after, he got drunk and bragged about it anyway (in particular, the fact that he threatened Bruce to stay silent), and was promptly arrested and committed to the nuthouse.

15 years later, he was released and managed to worm his way back into Bruce's life. Brian, still as much of an abusive prick as ever, picked a fight with his son, which resulted in Bruce accidentally killing him (and repressing the memory of doing so, choosing to instead think that he had merely saved himself from harm and that a bunch of muggers had killed Brian after the fight).

Everyone has mommy or daddy issues, anon.
Everyone.
>>
>>86734887
Superman doesn't really have parent "issues". His parents play an important role in his story but it's not like he's all hung about it like Batman is or Spider-Man is about Uncle Ben.

Nope, some retard, don't know who first but it's been brought up a couple times since then, made Steve Rogers' father an abusive alcoholic asshole, and now he's stuck as that in continuity.

while he is technically Peter, Ben got over that family bullshit real quick.
>>
>>86740667
How often does having a shitty dad actually affect Steve as a character, though? Is that what drove him to Hydra?
>>
>>86736834
That's because she's a girl and her family's muslim
>>
>>86740592
He's a hero to me
>>
>>86736817
I don't think OP is opposed superheroes loving their parents so much as aware that a lot of superheroes express that mainly by moping about losing them.

>How often does having a shitty dad actually affect Steve as a character, though?
Screws him up conceptually, is how. Think about it. Does Steve Rogers strike you as the kind of guy who never grew up with a positive male role model? I mean if you stretch, you could say that his aversion to bullies is tied to his experience as a kid, with his father, but you can already do that with forces outside his immediate family.
>>
>>86739221
Hulk is at least a bit different in that his problem with his parents isn't just that they died, and while his history of child abuse is sometimes used to expand upon his issues with anger, it's not a given that Hulk's parents will be mentioned.
It's nowhere near the same level of Batman's parents being killed or Magneto being a Holocaust survivor.
>>
>>86734887
well adjusted people don't have the single minded drive to do great and terrible things.
>>
>>86736756
Daredevil had daddy issues.
>>
>>86736756
I'm casual in Daredevil but isn't his dad job and eventual death as a boxer what drove him to vigilantism?
Or was that just the TV show?

Didn't he kill them or some shit as a kid?
>>

There's more than one way to be maladjusted.
>>
>>86742108
In Miller's run his dad a abusive alcoholic, but still loved Matt and gets murdered causing Matt to become a vigilante to seek out the murderers.
>>
>>86739221
He's just memeing. Hulk is literally defined by daddy issues
>>
Alternatively who has the most daddy and mommy issues?
Superman has 4 parents so he has a leg up on most people who aren't Peter Parker.
Although Peter also has lots of surrogate daddy issues.
>>
>>86734887
Superman actually has none if you think about it. I mean yeah he's adopted but that didn't really cause any mental hangups to be honest. Most of his problems come from the fact that he's a fucking alien and not that his biological parents were aliens.

>>86742853
Constantine
Anything introduced in hellblazer #100 does not count though fuck that shit it ruined a dynamic that worked fine.
