Diamondback was sort of all over the place. Cottonmouth was definitely the more intimidating villain, and he couldn't even hurt Luke!

Series wasn't bad, but it was definitely underwhelming.

King Pin had his empire brought down by DD, and has slowly been rebuilding it in S2. Hand was mentioned in S1, and was the main baddies in S2 where they were mostly destroyed, but got what they wanted in the end.

JJ had a few villainous characters on the sidelines, like the guy on super drugs, his organization, Trinity's law firm that might end up being evil, and a few others.

LC either touches on JJ's evil organization or sets up his own, sets up a new king/queen of the Harlem crime scene, sets up a potential superpowered villain in Diamondback, actually christens the Night Nurse, and sets up Misty to leave the police and start her own gig.

The only negative things I have for Luke Cage is that I didn't like that Misty jumped in the sack with Luke on the first episode basically to show as much skin as possible and then they carry. I felt like it kinda cheapened her character to be just a bootycall.

Was amazing, I liked him a lot because he was crazy but also crafty and sneaky. He came off as the kind of person that could set up as a weapons dealer scary enough that people don't ever talk about his real name, but also have such a personal vendetta against Luke that he would do all that shit. Also his suit didn't bother me because it is stolen hammer tech. They didn't design it, the suit was probably built for a white guy a few inches smaller than him, and the suit came in that color. Also it reminded me of the outfits from V and the color scheme reminded me of Doomguy.

Diamondback is THE MOST MARVEL VILLAIN I have ever seen in a show or on screen thus far. Purple Man and Fisk are next on list, but Diamondback was phenomenal!!!

He's eccentric, funny as fuck, off his rocker and willing to fight in the middle of the street surrounded by cops and shit like the Marvel villains of old. Other good examples of this were Crossbones, Iron Monger and Whiplash in that order, but none of them sounded like Diamondback who was LITERALLY channeling the comic books of my youth.

As cape television costumes go, the Atom's isn't bad. It looks like Ironman on a budget because it is - Diamondback doesn't necessarily need that much hard armor but the suit still needed to look more like it had tech built into it. They could have achieved that with more cables or piping running along the breast, shoulders and arms but the couple of bits poking out here and there didn't really read that well.
