I did a very low effort GL one year. Homemade domino mask, foam GL emblem taped to a black t-shirt and a light-up GL ring I found at a dollar store.

I was kind of proud of the mask, though. It was heat-shaped to fit my bone structure, and I spirit-gummed some small magnets on to my temples so I could attach and remove the mask at will without needing to have a dumb elastic band strapping it to my head.

I kind of want to do it again, but with an actual costume instead of just a t-shirt.
