Rick and Morty is much more well rounded as a show because it has fluid animation and utilizes multiple perspectives.

they are both good shows. I do feel the rick and morty fan base is a bit worse but that also draws a larger crowd so it should be expected.

In terms of characterization it's vastly superior, I can always see the reasoning behind a character's actions and that's really important. R&M is inconsistent when it comes to this.
However when it comes to humor, R&M kicks Bojack's ass, and they should really stick with the humor instead of the drama (because they suck at it).
