so its our birthday, lets reminisce and hate ourselves for it.
how long have you been on /co/ and how long have you been here in general?
>>86657564
also
6 years on /co/
8 on 4chan in general
>>86657564
4 years but it might be time to quit.
>>86657564
I don't know. Two years, top. I looked for some RPG PDFs, got to /tg/, noticed /co/mics board and I never left.
apparently since within a few months of creation, since I specifically remember using 4chan in the dorms back in 2003/2004, but there was already some /b/oard culture back then.
Mostly I was just fapping to porn on /gif/ before /co/ launched, so since the beginning I guess.
And yes, I do hate myself.
>>86657564
Around four years for 4chan.
Three years for /co/.
I think I've been here since 2012 or 2013?
About four or five years.
That's funny, I can't even remember how I discovered 4chan in the first place.
I wonder if I was looking for something I've never found and just forgot about it.
Oh, I've been on this place siiiiiiiiiiiince... I want to say mid-'08. I'm afraid I became a namefag pretty quickly (I was inspired by Kosh... remember him?) and became a storytimer in 2010, I think.
>>86657564
About 2/3 years on /co/
5 years on 4chan
>>86657564
3-4 years on 4chan. ~3 years on /co/ but I'm discounting those times when I was a kid and occasionally browsed and saw /co/meleon and other memes./co/ has always been shit but somehow seems worse
>>86657572
I am like this.
Old enough to see the downfall of /co/ around the years. The change of every girl of the month the rise and fall of ponys
I can' t believe I wasted my life in this place.
Been around 4chan since 2007, but mostly board jumping.
I've been leaning towards /co/ more since 2009-ish 2010.
All in all I mostly come here for the story times.
>>86657564
In /co/ since 2008
4chan i have been since 2004
My main board is /a/ but i do still come to /co/ sometimes.
>>86657564
I have been on 4chan since 2015 and on /co/ since at least 2007.
I think I blew in some time around 2007-2008. It was when Transformers Animated was airing, anyway. Not exactly an oldfag, but whatever.
>>86658507
>been around for 8-9 years
>not exactly an old fag
I've got news for you...
>>8665756413 yearsWHY AM I STILL HERE
I've been on /co/ for, maybe 2-3 years, might be longer though. I think I started browsing 4chan when I was 10 or when it was 2010, so around 9-6 years, kind of hard to remember.
>>86658642
Nah, he's like the first generation of newfags.
This is my third year on 4Chan. I originally came only on /vp/ to check leaks for Pokémon X/Y and /toy/ for Transformers threads, then I began checking other stuff. Nowadays I'm mainly on /co/ and the other two mentioned above, plus /tg/ sometimes.
Was on /tg/ for a few months, but switched to /co/ a year and a half ago because of how many quest/CYOA threads there were.
I remember the first thread I saw was Scanbro storytiming the last Superior Spider-Man issue, with the 7 quintilion replies to the one page.
Been on 4chan since 2006 and I started browsing /co/ in 2007 after I got bored with /v/ and /b/. The board moved so slow back then that it's bizarre to think about now. I remember all the threads about the original Civil War and Avatar The Last Airbender. Those were good times.
>>86657564
Seven years.
Since February
>>86657564
Been coming here since 2008 and I fucking hate it.
>>86657564
I've been browsing 4chan since I was young enough to say "I'm 12 and what is this" and mean it, but I only casually browsed (mostly the porn boards and /b/) and never posted on /co/ up until around 2009/10, when I started watching cartoons again. I had a falling out with them in high school and only watched anime, but around that time some new stuff started catching my eye.
I have been here since late 2008-09, and /co/ was my first board.
I just don't remember how I got here, I think I just found it because I heard about how edgy /b/ was, checked it out, quickly came over here instead, never left.

My fellow old people!
Started coming to /co/ around early 2011. Before that I would just use the porn boards. Over the past few years I've bounced around /a/, /tg/, and /vp/, but always end up back here.
>>86659124
>Moe fires from within the car
>next scene he is next to the car
I hated the /co/ is love shit
>>86657564
I've been on 4chan since 2012, and /co/ since 2013. I know a lot of people say that 4chan ruined their lives or something but I'm actually really glad I started coming here.
I was around before this board went to total and irrecoverable shit. People used to say /co/ was the best board on 4chan, and it was true. I spent days on here, browsing every thread, participating in every discussion -- my best friends did too.
Now it's just, this thing. Half the people on here are obnoxious assholes from tumblr who haven't lurked a single day before posting and screech if you bring up how they're shit. They've ruined this board even worse than mlp did to the entire site in 2011.
Writing this, I realize it's not going to get better. I've stopped trying, there's no way to cut out this rot.
Goodbye, /co/. I've been anon for six years and I'm done.
You are not what you used to be /co/,
you are not a good board.
>>86660088
See ya tomorrow
I posted for a while and then LOST started airing
No idea when that was
>>86659996
I'd go back to that any day over the absolute cancer we have today
>/co/
2 years
>4chan
6 years
>>86657564
I've been on 4chan for about 4 years now. Been on /co/ for the last year and a half ever since /tv/ went to shit even more.
I don't have recollective memory. Probably around 7 or 8 years on 4chan and 3 or 4 on /co/
I've been on 4chan since 2007. I started on /a/, but found /co/ almost immediately. I was here for Wolfbatman, at least. I actually was one of the principle writefags for it.
Contrary to what >>86660088 says, I actually think /co/ has gotten better. The absolute worst time to be on /co/ was from 2012 to 2014, or so. Every single day it was Tumblr this or feminism that and it was a huge fucking mess. In the last two years it seems like the board's made a kind of peace, and we've gotten better at integrating everything into a collective. It's enough for me to stick around, anyway.
I also miss when there were no captchas, but that's never coming back. Fucking Moot.

You will find that no matter what you think, there's never a "good" or "bad" time. Your experience fluctuates between those two states in regards to your expectations, but your expectation and those of the others that browse the site are not the same thus there are clashes in which you find having a good time during a certain period while others don'tThe only real dark years of /co/ happened in 2011
Came to 4chan in 2011, probably started lurking /co/ not long after.
the boards quality is around the same but man am i glad they cracked down on Generals it was so fucking bad when Homestuck was in full swing
>>86657564
about two years now, I came here from /tg/
>being near 30 having lurked /co/ for under 5 years
You all deserve the chair
>>86657564
ive been on both since 2011
/co/ was one of my first boards
only started to get into actual comics recently though
>>86661467
I'm 18.
It's our 13th anniversary
can you believe it's 57 years since 4chin started
About 7-8 years. Always was on /co/ and a little bit on /v/. Still remember the Punisher: Born storytime on /b/.
>>86659677
Same. I jumped between /x/ and /co/, only went to /b/ in the summer of 08 for porn.
I hate you all and love you all at the same time. Thanks for being there.
>>86659996
This place used to be pretty lovely though. Most /co/mrades were just too goofy to seriously rage.
