Opinions on both shows?

That's generally the opinion round here. Personally I didn't even know of Chronicles up until somewhat recently, came as a shock

Showdown was great until they introduced Roy Bean. At that point forward it was made of suck.

Chronicles started slow but had a good arc started by the end of the 3rd episode, which they immediately forgot and destroyed by episode 4, never to recover.

Showdown was my favorite show on television at a point, but it went downhill when they introduced signature specific weapons for them. That gay ass ice staff for Omi, shuriken for Kimiko, etc. Then they each got special generic gauntlets, ugh.

I thought it had a pretty good first season. Didn't care much for Chase Young, and hated Hannibal Bean.

Chronicles ruined everything.

Loved Showdown.

Couldn't even sit through Chronicles. I can deal with changing the Wu names because of the company rights issues but everything else was unacceptable. Omi's annoying cousin, 3D animated Xaolin Showdowns, shitty new VAs for everyone, Dojo being FUCKING YELLOW for no reason.
